The Ziggy Team
A team of two carpenter brothers, Ziggy and Tom, and interior designer Emily C. Butler sought to create a line of high-quality, customizable, non-toxic home furnishings that wouldn't compromise design.
By bringing together Ziggy and Tom’s expertise in custom furniture, millwork, and carpentry and Emily’s keen design eye, the namesake line Ziggy was born.
Ziggy is proud to offer a full line of furniture and accessories that provide a safe alternative to the potentially harmful materials used in furniture currently sold by even the most recognizable and reputable retailers and high-end to-the-trade suppliers. Each piece uses hardwood construction and non-toxic, VOC-free materials to create a superior finished product.
Ziggy & Tom
Ziggy and his brother Tom specialize in custom furniture, millwork, and carpentry in their Connecticut workshop. After moving to the US from Poland in the 90s, Ziggy found his first job in the woodworking field via a local newspaper ad. Tom soon joined him and together they used that time to learn everything they could, honing their skills, and moving up in the ranks until it was time to make the leap and open up their own shop. Over the last 20 years, they built their reputation and business through a passion for delivering only the highest quality products to their clients, never cutting corners.
Emily C. Butler is a New York City based interior designer and decorator whose design philosophy is simple: interiors should be comfortable, personal, and reflect not only your life, but the life in you. Through her day-to-day interior design work, Emily consistently called on Ziggy and Tom to build pieces for her client's one-of-a-kind installations. Realizing her client's needs were often universal, she wanted to bring design-forward pieces to the market that were not only practical and safe, but also beautiful.
