WHAT ARE VOCs?
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are compounds that emit as gases into an environment (often referred to as off-gassing), polluting the air that you breathe in your home. VOCs are toxic and have been linked by the US Environmental Protection Agency to adverse health effects such as: eye, nose, and throat irritation; headaches, loss of coordination and nausea; damage to liver, kidney and central nervous system; and, in some cases, have been suspected to cause cancer in animals and humans. Concentration levels have consistently been found to be higher indoors (up to a factor of 10) than outdoors. For more information on indoor air quality, visit www.epa.gov/iaq.
WHAT KIND OF PAINT & FINISHES DOES ZIGGY USE?
Ziggy uses custom water-based paints and finishes manufactured in Europe and mixed in the United States. We chose these products for their reliability, quality, and—above all—safety.
All of our finishes are waterborne and fall below the Greenguard limit for VOC content for both flat and high gloss finishes.
All of our products are designed to last, but proper care of water based finishes is essential to the protection of your new furniture. Please visit our care guide for more information.
At this time we can accommodate a limited amount of customization beyond the options listed on each product page. If you would like to adjust dimensions on an existing design or have an idea for a custom product that falls outside of what's listed, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We also plan to introduce new products and colors in the future which will be announced online and via our newsletter.
All items are made to order. Production lead time is 4-8 weeks for Paint & Wood Finishes and 6-8 weeks for High Gloss Lacquer.
Shipping time is not included in this lead time estimate.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY
All furniture is shipped via a third-party delivery service. In most cases we recommend white-glove delivery.
Accessories, finish samples, and touch-up pens ship for free.
At this time, we only ship and deliver in the contiguous United States and do not deliver to PO or APO boxes. Please contact us for special delivery requests.

DAMAGED FURNITURE OR ACCESSORIES
Please examine all white glove deliveries and FedEx/UPS/USPS shipments carefully. Please inspect packaging and your furniture. In the instance of damage, please follow the steps below:
1. Retain all packing materials.
2. Document all damage to the packaging and furniture with photos.
3. Document all damage in writing with the shipper prior to the shipper leaving your home.
4. Contact us at email@example.com to let us know and we will gladly work with you to determine next steps.
Any damage that is the result of shipping needs to be reported at the time of delivery and documented with the shipper. We are happy to help resolve shipping issues in any way we can, but we can not be held responsible for third party actions.
All furniture pieces are custom made and final sale.
Ziggy accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Orders will not go into production or released for delivery until payment has been received.
Gift cards can be purchased in a variety of amounts and will be sent to you electronically after purchase. Don't see the amount you're looking for? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your gift card request.
